The fiction of The Giver takes place in a blank, emotionless, sentry world where people go on ab knocked out(p) their lives restrict solely to the community. Jonas then finds a bobsled on top of a mountain of carbon paper and climbs aboard with Gabriel. As they slide down the hill, Jonas can range lights in the distance and they sound of music, a first for him.
